Harry Sprouse – Owner
As the founder & owner Harry brings 30 years of direct hands on automotive experience to Morgantown. Over the years, he has managed some of the most premier, well respected automotive service centers in Baltimore and central Virginia. Also a former consultant and teacher for ATI ( The Automotive Training Institute), Harry brings a high level of excellence and standards to Riverside Automotive. Harry is determined to show Morgantown WV that there is and can be honesty and integrity in this industry.
In Harry’s personal life, he enjoys motorcycling on his Harley Davidson, plays the guitar in a classic rock band, and occasionally plays with the church band on Sunday mornings.
Zac Britton – Manager
Zac has 14 years of experience with automotive repairing and service. Zac came to Harry as an applicant for a technician position, and within just a few minutes of conversation, he was hired as front office manager. Zac is one of the most personal big loving guys you will ever meet, and definitely knows his cars. Self-nicknamed “Fat Zac”, food is always the key to his heart. It is not unusual to see clients bringing him snacks or breakfast.
In Zac’s personal life, he is a Jeep enthusiast and expert. He enjoys off-roading, covering his Jeep or 4-wheeler in good old West Virginia mountain mud and dirt. Zac is also a single dad of a young son and daughter, Caleb and Maddie.
Jeff – Service Manager
Jeff brings to Riverside Automotive over 30 years of hands on direct automotive service excellence. As a Master Certified ASE Technician, Jeff has seen, done, and fixed it all. He is our diagnostic and electrical specialist. When a vehicle comes it with a check engine light or an electrical malfunction, he is the first to say “That one is mine, back off!” We are so blessed to have Jeff on our team, as technicians of his stature are far and few in between.
Jeff spent several years in the U.S. Air Force as a jet engine mechanic, and even helped with the Stealth Bomber. Jeff is an avid outdoorsman and is at home in the woods with a rifle, compound bow, or a fishing rod. Originally from Morgantown, Jeff spent the past 20 years in Myrtle Beach SC, and is now back home to be closer to family.
Devin – Technician
Devin is a much valued Automotive Technician at Riverside. He brings a solid 15 years of automotive mechanical experience. Devin is our in house European car expert. He states that most cars he has ever owned always ended up being a Volkswagen or Audi. He spent many years at the local racetracks surprising people what a WV or AUDI could do in a quarter mile. He loves the winter months, as that's his time for snowboarding, during the summer he likes to frequent the local lakes. As for the future, Devin says he inherited his late grandmothers antique sewing machine and is determined to find someway to modify some hot rod performance upgrades to it!
Kyle – Technician
Kyle brings to Riverside over 12 years of direct hands on automotive experience. Kyle is a man’s man mechanic! Kyle’s strength is his strength. He is your guy when it comes to the big heavy duty jobs like engine or transmission replacement, drive train repairs, and a brake and suspension specialist. He keeps us all quite entertained with his funny “The world according to Kyle” daily morning coffee conversations.
Kyle has two young nephews that he has unofficially adopted as his own and spends most of his spare time bringing them up with a man figure in their lives. Kyle is an animal lover and has everything from dogs to birds, turtles, lizards, and a snake that’s been missing in his house for quite some time. In what spare time he has left over, he still finds himself working on cars at home.
Detail Team - J.T. and Mike
JT and Mike are our guys that add that special "finishing touch" to your service. They pride themselves in making sure that your car is returned to you cleaner than it came in. Remember a clean car always seems to run better JT is also your Chauffeur in the mornings , getting you to work when you bring the car in for service. Be sure to visit their "Tip Jar" at the front counter if you want to extend a thank you , as they are usually out back working hard!
Dallas – Customer Service / Mascot
Dallas is our shop dog whose duties include but not limited to: Greeting customers when they come in the door, sitting with them and making people feel better while they wait for their car to be serviced. He has no degrees or certifications but definitely one of our most valued employees. Dallas is also a key factor in all our advertising campaigns, he always seems to vote in favor of his picture on the front page of everything.
